London & the British Library

From Thursday, October 8 to Tuesday, October 13 we were in London. We had wanted to go to London for quite some while and now we finally got our chance. Before going to London we researched some of the places we were going to. While in London we stayed in a rented apartment. On Friday, our first whole day there, we went to the British Library. The British Library isn't a normal library where you check books out, it is a place with hundreds of old books that you can look at but not read. It was fascinating to see all of those old books, preserved for a long time. There was one room with lots of thousand+ year old books in it, including the Magna Charta. There was also a section with hundreds of stamps. Unfortunately we couldn't take very many pictures at the British Library.

                    Before going to our next adventure of the day we stopped at a little playground to play. It was for little kids but we still had fun.

Bike Riding

This is me riding a bike without training wheels. I rode the length of the bike path as if I had practiced for a long time, but I had only practiced for 3 days.

A day at Tokyo Disney Sea

Today my family went to Tokyo Disney Sea. I am posting pictures of rides we went on and things we got.

Paper Art Museum

During winter break me and my dad went to Seoul. We went to a paper art museum in Seoul. These are some pictures of  some things in the paper art museum.

What I did on New Years Eve

I  invited  a  friend  from  Church  and  Emma's  family  to  my  house  for  dinner.  We  had  pizza  for  dinner.
We  did  a  nativity  play.  I  was  Mary,  Emma  was  the  angel,  and  Elanor  was  Joseph.  Emma's  little  sister Madison  was  the  donkey  and  my  Dad  and  Charlotte  were  shepherd  and  sheep.  We  sang  Christmas songs  after  the  play.

Little House Books.

My  blog  is  going  to  be  about  the  first  five  Little  House  Books.

For  Christmas  in  the  Little  House  in  the  Big  Woods  Laura  got  a  doll.  She  named  it  Charlotte.

Santa  Claus  could  not  come  to  the  Prairie  so  a  nice  man  named  Mr.  Edwards  brought  them  their
Presents.

For  Almanzos  Birthday  his  Father  gave  him  a  yoke  for  his  Cows.

 For  Christmas  on  the  Banks  of  Plum  Creek  they  got  Horses

Mary  and  Carrie  and  baby  Grace  and  Ma  had  all  had  scarlet  fever.  Far  worst  of  all  the  fever  had
settled  in  Marys  eyes  and  Mary  was  blind.
